Meltdown
My motherboard on my main system fried, I won't be around much to answer email or work on my programs. I've a lovely USB hard drive for backups, so even if the main SATA RAID drive data is toast, I'll only lose a few days of work.
Anyways, I'm having a new barebones system shipped to me next week, so I'll be back in about a week's time - if things go right.
ArsClip Bug Workaround
If some pasted text is getting truncated with 3 dots at the end, disable the "Last:" Show Option in Configuration as a temporary workaround.
ArsClip 2.8.6 released
It's spent a long time in beta testing, but it's close enough for a release. The popup has been redesigned so that pasting as plain text and pasting as formatted text is very clear. The new Cliptype icons are clickable "buttons" are specifically for pasting and labeling when formatted text is available for pasting.
Even with the hard work done by beta testers, I'm expecting some lesser used function(s) to break. Feel free to report any problems, no matter how small, with the new version.
Rename Master v2.7.2 released
Not much has changed in this release of Rename Master except for one very useful addition - an option to use full Regular Expressions.
Regular Expressions allow for very, very flexible expressions compared to the simplistic [*,?] command prompt style meta-characters. They're also quite harder to learn, but it's worth it if you have a specific need for you renaming.
The file filters will still function as expected, still using the command prompt style meta-characters.
ArsClip v2.8.5 released
ArsClip v2.8.5 has been released.
The most notable change is the "Paste Clipboard as Plaintext" hotkey - an excellent user request.
