OkayKeybees

OkayKeybees is a freeware keyboard remapper with a twist. You define what keys are always replaced or what keys are replaced only when a user defined modifier key is held. You can effectively "move" keys to either side of the keyboard or even effective disable keys (like the Windows key).

No installation program is needed.

Instructions / Notes

Define keys you wish to always replace or those your wish to be replaced only when a key is being held down (modifier key). While the Configuration window is open, no keypress replacements will occur.

Keys are safely replaced at runtime and no configuration changes are made to the operating system, so OkayKeybees will not interfere with anything important - like the login screen. The program can be easily temporarily disabled or closed by clicking on the system tray icon.

OkayKeybees uses a global hook to replace keyboard messsages. While some users may never have any problems with them, Microsoft does not recommend their use since global hook programs can conflict with each other and can hamper performance on slower systems.
